We help our clients to select and develop great leaders...who reimagine leadership and get results.

Custom Benchmarking

People that thrive in one company do not always succeed in others.

Choosing the right person for the job is a lot harder than it sounds. There are many talented people in the world anxious to work for great companies. But talent selection is less about finding the person with the right skills and experience, and more about finding the person with the right attitude and fit for the job. Measuring the difference between high and underperforming talent creates accurate tools that quickly identify the right talent for the right role.

GLS has the ability to create a custom benchmark based on the performance of your current employees. We then help you develop a set of competencies and selection tools that not only help improve hiring decisions, but also predict who will perform in the role and screen out those who are less likely to be successful.

How we create our custom Talent Benchmark:

Job Analysis

We interview employees and managers and do an in-depth job analysis to understand the skills and abilities needed to do the job, and compatibility required to fit in with the culture of your organization.

Assessment Mapping

Through our proprietary assessment mapping process we identify the key positive attributes you are looking for and the key negative attributes you want to avoid in candidates for the role.

Incumbent Assessment Data

Current individuals in the role (Incumbents) take the TalMetrics assessment to help us further identify high and low performers and provide a critical component for our benchmark analysis.  As more people get added to the role they complete the assessment and their data is added to the benchmark analysis. Ongoing measurement and monitoring of results is conducted, resulting in the continual improvement and predictability of the benchmark over time.
