There are three dimensions of thinking: people, task and systems.
These dimensions are applied to how we view and interact with the external world and our internal self. The Thinking Style Assessment mathematically calculates the relationship between these three dimensions. It captures a person's capacity to utilize each of these dimensions, their preference to use one thinking dimension over another, and the balance between them
The Thinking Style assessment is not a psychological, intelligence, or aptitude test. It measures the ability of an individual to organize his or her intellectual and emotional intelligence. We are all unique but think with the same overall thinking structure. This thinking structure governs our ability to recognize and solve problems and to make decisions. Our thinking talent is composed of thinking dimensions, which produce unique thinking habits and patterns. Our thinking habits and patterns are based on the clarity of our thinking and our tendency to pay attention to some thinking dimensions and to filter out others.
The Thinking Style assessment measures how people actually think by having an individual perform a thinking task, and then, using complex mathematics, produces a detailed picture of the person's preferred thinking process. It provides objective information regarding such variables as one's strategic thinking ability, attention to concrete detail, intuitive insight, persistence, consistency, systems orientation, sensitivity to others, confidence, optimism, self-regard, emotional control and drive level.
GLS' Thinking Style Assessment measures an individual's thinking pattern through a 15-20 minute assessment that is objective and cannot be biased. The analysis of the assessment is ideal for talent screening, professional development, teambuilding and succession planning.
